CLIENT: City Schoolyard Garden

SYNOPSIS: Design Garden Shed and Pavilion. Garden Structures are designed to be built in phases that will eventually create a storage, working and gathering space within the existing vegetable garden at Jackson-Via Elementary School. The structure can be constructed off-site as panels and assembled on-site, and is small and versatile enough that it can be duplicated at other Charlottesville schools in the City Schoolyard Garden program.

CLIENT: Thomas Jefferson Adult and Career Education

SYNOPSIS: Our challenge was to create a logo and brand along with a set of promotional posters for the Thomas Jefferson Adult & Career Education Center. Their organization provides classes and resources for people looking to get their GED, learn English, improve cognitive skills, and a variety of other goals. The resulting logo illustrates new life and growth through the integrated learning opportunities that students are given. A common phrase around the classrooms is, “all together one”; this sentiment was a very influential in the resulting design.
